Another famous tomb in the valley is KV5, also known as the tomb of Ramses VI (meaning “Son of Ra”).
This tomb belongs to Ramses VI, who ruled from 1186 to 1155 BC.
He was a son-in-law and successor of Ramses II (also known as Ramses the Great), one of the most powerful and successful pharaohs in history.
Ramses VI’s tomb has over 120 chambers for his wives, children, servants, chariots, weapons, jewelry, statues, furniture, and other items. It is one of the largest and most complex tombs ever built.
