The monastery:

St. Catherine’s Monastery is one of the most famous in the world. Built between 527 and 565 AD.

The monastery got its name from St. Catherine, who was tortured and beheaded for her Christian beliefs.

• 06:00 AM, pick up from your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh by air-conditioned vehicle for approximately 3 hours through the desert landscape of the Sinai Peninsula.
• 09:00 AM Arrive at St. Catherine's Monastery, located at the foot of Mount Sinai, and learn about the history of the monastery, which is said to have been built on the spot where Moses encountered the burning bush.
• 09:30 AM See the Chapel of the Burning Bush, believed to be built over the roots of the actual bush. Women must cover their heads and arms to enter the chapel.
• 11:30 AM Depart from St. Catherine's Monastery to have your lunch.
